Mike is the CEO and one of the founders of Raccoon Events. He's organised exhibitions for most of his working life and he's passionate about creating live event experiences that are community-led, cutting edge, and fun.
Mike's vision for Raccoon Events is to continue their rapid growth by attracting and retaining a diverse range of talent in order to build a trusted company that delivers on its promises, supports flexible working and minimises its environmental impact. In his spare time he's a keen runner and loves being outdoors at any opportunity.
Jo is the CMO for Raccoon Events working across all of the event brands. With over 20-years’ experience in the events industry, her speciality is launching new products and enhancing user experience.
In her spare time she also runs to keep fit (with the occasional half marathon) and loves enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and two kids.
Group Event Director
Nathalie is the Group Event Director for The National Running Show and Run Show USA. She has worked in the events industry for the past 11 years, running events in a variety of sectors including technology, marketing, building and franchising.
She is a big fitness fan so loves working on Running Shows . When she is not working in the events world she is a busy mum to 2 little ones.
MD, Active Division
Steve is MD – Active Division at Raccoon Events. His main focus at the moment is launching and delivering our awesome new event, The National Snow Show! He has over 10 years experience in the events industry mainly centred around the active lifestyle categories and is all about content driven passion led events that deliver.
Steve is a keen snowboarder, mountain biker, skateboarder, longboarder and axe thrower. Steve will always take the outdoor option, unless it is to go to an indoor climbing wall…
Addie is the Commercial Director at Raccoon Events. After spending 7 years working for The NEC she joined Raccoon Events to work as an organiser, launching a successful portfolio of consumer shows.
She loves being involved in shaping and building the foundations of successful community focussed exhibitions.
Rachel is our Account Manager on the National Running Shows and Run Show USA. She is an avid runner and gym goer, if she's not training for a marathon then you’ll catch her in the gym lifting weights to help me get through the OCR’s.
Head of Content
Verity is the Head of Content for Raccoon Events. She has been working in the world of PR, client and social media management for several years. When she's not working she's mum to 2 little ones who keep her very busy!
Senior Marketing Manager
Ashley is the Senior Marketing Manager at Raccoon Events. She has over 14 years’ experience in the world of marketing, PR and communications working across consumer and corporate sectors.
She is an avid runner (as long as it’s not raining!), loves strength training and loves the sun!
Hannah is the Marketing Manager for the National Running Shows. With years of experience, Hannah has worked across a range of social media campaigns for B2B and B2C events, as well as a number of community projects. When Hannah isn’t working she loves running (pretty slowly) in the countryside and swimming in the sea.
Dominic is the Marketing Assistant at Raccoon Events working across all shows. He is a keen sportsman and gym-goer with a background in promoting the benefits of physical activity to mental health and wellbeing. Dom is the go-to for anything social media!
Maddy is Mike's wife/partner in crime and Finance Director for Raccoon Events. Maddy is also a professional photographer and takes many of the show photographs, when she's not looking after the kids. You’ll often find her cheering on and crewing Mike on one of his many running adventures.
Matthew has spent over 25 years in the exhibition industry, working across the ‘holy trinity’ of organiser, venue and contractor. His team currently manage a portfolio of over 50 events annually and have established themselves as one of the ‘go to’ company for organisers looking to outsource their operations.
Ralph has worked in Media and event for over 25 years with companies such as Reed Business Publishing, William Reed, United Business Media and more recently with CloserStill Media Ralph was the MD of healthcare and launch over 8 events in the healthcare and medical sectors.
His team won multiple EN and AEO awards and won best launch several times. Ralph now runs a successful events consultancy and investor.
Darren is one of the Directors of Raccoon Events, and is responsible for the digital presence and data handling for the group of events. He's been building websites and applications for over 13 years, and champions the use of data in an honest, open, and privacy-respecting way.
Head of Digital
Matt is the digital director at Raccoon Events focusing on the OutsideandActive.com platform delivering content and creating digital opportunities for Raccoon. Matt has worked in the publishing and events industry for over 15 years. Matt loves talking to people, is an avid outdoors person and enjoys pretty much anything to do with being outside and active; He has a passion for inspiring people to get outside and active.
Matt is the Sales Manager for Raccoon Events, working on the USA running event series.
With over 15 years of experience in the events industry, his passion is adding value to customers by making a partnership engaging, fun and enjoyable.
In his spare time he can be seen running all over the North Downs with his four sons, in addition to coaching rugby at Warlingham RFC.
Amy is the Event Administrator for Raccoon Events, working across all the shows.
She is your point of call for all things Raccoon!
Amy loves socialising with friends, catching up with family and is kept busy being a dog mum to Hugo, her crazy Dalmatian.
Esther is the Event Manager for The National Outdoor Expo. She has worked in the events industry for the past 18 years, running b2b shows across foodservice and healthcare.
She is excited to now be working on a launch event which promotes wellbeing in such a positive consumer space. When not working, she enjoys long walks with her two dogs and exploring other parts of the world.
Marketing Director, USA
Heather Johnson is a US-based contractor supporting the successful launch of the Run Show USA brand. She has more than 20 years of event experience from marketing to portfolio management, across industries from food to healthcare. When she’s not focused on bringing new events to market, she enjoys running (almost all distances) and spending as much time as possible with her husband and three boys.
